Born in 1985 in the Russian Caucasus and raised between Russian and German cultures, Anastasia Volokh is a self-taught artist who has alwaysbalanced creativity and career.

In 2016 she left Europe to begin a new chapter in Senegal, where her artistic voice flourished. Inspired by people, encounters, and emotions, her work explores freedom, authenticity, and connection. She has exhibited during the Biennale OFF at BOMA, Dakar, and at DWG Art Shows at IFAN Museum. In 2025, she partnered with artist and gallerist Mimi to co-found ANAMI Art Studio and launch the BENTOexhibitions – a monthly series bringing together diverse artists and styles in a vibrant, authentic space.
