His real name is Birame Mbaye, and he is a graffiti artist, portrait artist, and designer. He was born in Guédiawaye, a suburb of Dakar, where he began developing his creativity at a young age.

Of average height and as slender as a pencil, Birame Mbaye was simply born an artist.

He dabbled in drawing at school and excelled in the subject. Appetite comes with eating, and at a certain point in his life, he decided to turn his passion into his profession. Thus, the artist took on the persona of BEAU to share his deepest feelings with the world through art.

BEAU discovered the world of graffiti in 2008, influenced by his love for art and HIP HOP culture. He began drawing at a very young age with his friend Madzoo. Thus, he began to find joy in what he was doing, and ultimately, this was a major step toward his artistic calling, which today is painting and everything related to it.

In 2012, he joined the RBS CREW (RADIKL BOMB SHOT), a collective of graffiti artists.

His encounter with graffiti allowed him to freely express his artistic desires after participating in various national and international festivals.
