Demba Ly
Demba LY, born in Senegal in 1996, is a self-taught artist.
Raised in Mbao, a suburb of Dakar, he discovered his love for drawing at an early age but considered it a mere pastime alongside soccer. After graduating from high school in 2014, he began to explore his artistic potential alongside his university studies, teaching himself through online resources and studying renowned illustrators, painters, and sculptors.

Over the years, he has created an identity for himself and gained recognition on the art scene, participating in several exhibitions.
Through his various artistic projects, Demba has attracted the attention of the media and art professionals and is now considered one of Senegal's promising young talents.
His work continues to evolve, combining storytelling, symbolism, and refined aesthetics, positioning him as an emerging figure in contemporary African art.
