Lobé NDAO is a visual artist born in Dakar and a graduate of the National School of Arts. Her originality lies in her use of a mixed technique based on beads of different sizes and colors. To achieve this, she uses collage and weaving as her working methods.

Here, the beads represent abstract or figurative images through their juxtaposition and color relationships.

Inspired by African culture, Lobé opts for varied, warm, and vivid colors that highlight the physical characteristics of the characters.

Finally, her works are not only created using the rigidity of the base material, but also have a sculptural aspect through the incorporation of other more flexible elements.
