Laye Thioune is a Senegalese visual artist and musician renowned for the expressive richness of his pictorial universe. Through vivid colors and dynamic forms, he explores themes related to identity, memory, and everyday life in Africa.

He is based in Dakar, at SICAP Liberté 5. After graduating from the École Nationale des Arts (ENA) in Dakar in 2013 with a degree in music, he continued his studies at the same school in visual arts, where he graduated at the top of his class in 2020.
