The Dakar Women's Group is deeply honored to announce that Ms. Khadidiatou Sow will serve as the patron of the 2024 DWG Art Show.

Ms.Sow is a committed multidisciplinary artist. She has gained international recognition for her film work, notably for her short film Une place dans l'avion, which won awards in 2017 at the African Film Academy and in 2019 at FESPACO, where it received the Silver Foal.

She has participated in several Dakar Biennales as well as numerous exhibitions in Senegal and abroad. Her work focuses particularly on promoting young artists, with a special emphasis on women, both nationally and regionally.

It is therefore with great joy and deep gratitude that the Dakar Women's Group welcomes her as the patron of this exhibition.
